How much do Cambodians know about deforestation in the country?

Environmental issue has been leapfrogging over the decades as its spread it fatal impacts on global environment. Every pictures of the destructions of environment- deforestation, illegal logging, industrial polluted emission and more- has shown its significant impacts on people which this caused by activities of people, THEMSELVE. When it happens, it won’t just effect on a small scale of an area, but it would cause a major hit on international level as currently occurring in the world- rising sea level, changing weather patterns, natural disasters in almost every pictures, to name a few. This is would be so vulnerable for underdeveloped and developing countries.
 Forest are cleared to make way for agriculture

Cambodia is among the major
countries which affected the most by environmental issue. BUT, who should be blamed for this? There would no specific answer since we are living in industrialization world that clearing forest is a must to make way for agricultures, factories, and housings. Speaking of which, Cambodia has one of the worse data regarding to deforestation- simple reason behind is CORRUPTED OFFICIALS.Cambodian government has been struggling to enforce environmental regulations giving a full opportunity to any illegal activities.

Between 1970s, Cambodia is primarily covered 70% by rainforest which is rich in biodiversity went down to 3.1 percent today. From year to year, its dramatically increasing rates of deforestation make Cambodia largely lost its natural resources over the last decades. Because
Cambodia has lost its rainforest almost 1.5 percent each year, making it the fourth highest deforestation among major forest countries which has driven the extinction of the worlds’ animal as well.

Calling for actions is needed instantly for the sake of saving Cambodian Forest!!!
